# Stephan's Digital Garden Planted: 23 July 2025 Last tended: 06 November 2025 Dear reader, by some chance, you've arrived here, and for that, I offer a welcome. This digital garden is a passion project where I share whatever crosses my mind, from fleeting impressions to more deliberate explorations. A collection and compendium of anything that interests me. The themes often orbit around art, but I also venture into other areas that capture my curiosity, including my study notes on [[Overview and Resources|Anatomy for Artists]], Clay Sculpting and Photography. In many ways, this place is an unbound extension of my personal (portfolio) website [stephanlevin.com](https://www.stephanlevin.com/blog). This garden is built on **Obsidian Publish**. If you're curious about the setup or are thinking of building your own, I've documented the entire process: [[Behind the Garden]]. This isn't my only Obsidian Publish project; I'm also using it to build a curated wiki and [dictionary for 'everything 3D,'](https://3dictionary.com) aimed at those interested in learning and getting into 3D art. ## What is a Digital Garden? A digital garden is a collection of thoughts and ideas, often focused, as in my case, on personal interests or studies. It's basically a blend between a digital notebook and a public blog, with content that cultivates and grows over time, like a seed planted in a garden. Unlike a blog, which typically follows a linear structure, a digital garden uses non-linear connections, linking related notes through internal links to form an interconnected web of thoughts. For a better overview, I'm sorting all entries into dedicated branches, which are simply menus collecting all notes on a relevant topic. I am 25-year-old (digital) artist, with my main focus on digital sculpting, still in the midst of unraveling that very question myself. Alongside my work as an artist, I am also a dedicated writer, a passionate chronicler of my own thoughts.
