# Intention vs. Action Planted: 14 October 2025 I realized this year that the only thing that ever truly matters is one's actions. It can be incredibly easy to simply say things, but I feel there's always a different, more honest drive behind one's actions in comparison. Active actions take effort, which usually comes from a more genuine place, as it also requires willingness. What remains hard to grasp sometimes is how some people seem to lack any self-awareness regarding the discrepancy between their actions versus their intentions or words. How especially hurtful actions seem to be almost excused because the underlying intentions were "different" or "not meant that way." Or the audacity to deny another's hurt based on that. It's a twisted and hurtful logic, and I'd almost go as far as labeling it toxic behavior. It's something I learned this year to scrutinize more closely and judge much more harshly. #thoughts
