# The Winter Arc Planted: 21 September 2025 There is a popular trend born in the realms of social media called the "Winter Arc." It's basically a mindset of setting goals and developing habits that contribute to one's psychological and physiological well-being, often focusing on self-discipline and physical activity before the New Year. In basic terms, it's a time for facing mental and physical challenges and getting things done, usually during the later season of the year. While I'm no devotee of social media trends, I did realize that I'm subconsciously preparing for somewhat of a winter arc myself. After a fairly brutal year, and after having wasted most of it [[On the Loss of Love|due to occurrences which weighed heavily on me]], I decided to try making the best of the months that remain. Together with a good friend, I created my first ever proper workout and nutrition plan. Given the results I've seen in the gym these past months without following any real plan (basically free balling most of it) I'm motivated to see what's possible when I take things seriously. This also includes additional routines focusing on literally reviving my sleep schedule, which died somewhere along the way this year, and on improving my mental health, which took an irreversible hit this year. Yet I remain hopeful of at least finding a bit of peace in these resolutions. #life #thoughts ---
  favorite 0 chat_bubble
